Construction of the Oita photovoltaic plant completed
The 38.7 MW Oita photovoltaic plant begins commercial operation in Japan.
On 16 March 2020, Sonnedix’s Oita Solar photovoltaic plant, with 38.7 MW of capacity, began commercial operation in Oita, Japan.
MAETEL carried out the complete EPC for this plant, which uses 340 Wp LG modules and 1,667 kW central photovoltaic inverters manufactured by TMEIC (Toshiba-Mitsubishi-Electric Industrial Systems Corporation).
During its first full year of operation, the plant is expected to produce 46,400 MWh of clean energy, helping to avoid the emission of approximately 22,502 metric tonnes of CO2 per year.
