Work begins on the Kurayoshi and Oita photovoltaic plants

MAETEL continues its expansion in the Japanese market with the start of the construction of two photovoltaic parks in the prefectures of Tottori and Oita, for our client SONNEDIX.

Like any project in Japan, the volume and level of complexity of civil works are very important: earthworks, drainage infrastructure, construction of ponds ... 

The photovoltaic plants of Kurayoshi (36.43 MW) and Oita (38.65 MW) have consolidated MAETEL in the Japanese market since its entry in 2014, with 8 completed projects in the operation and maintenance phase, which add up to more than 400 MW of power.
