Construction of the Oita photovoltaic plant completed
The 38.7 MW Oita photovoltaic plant begins commercial operations in Japan.

On March 16, 2020, the 38.7 MW Sonnedix Oita Solar photovoltaic plant started commercial operation in Oita, Japan.
MAETEL has realized the complete EPC of this plant, which is operated with 340 Wp LG ground mounted modules and 1,667 kW central PV inverters manufactured by TMEIC (Toshiba-Mitsubishi-Electric Industrial Systems Corporation).
During its first full year of operation, the plant is expected to produce 46,400 MWh of clean energy, which will help prevent the emission of approximately 22,502 metric tons of CO2 per year.
